Alexandrena Parker

Photographer, Teacher and Cystic Fibrosis Fighter

For the past 13 years, Alexandrena Parker has made her mark as a photographer specialising in capturing evocative and genuine imagery of children in the advertising sector. Her journey has been one of passion, creativity, and a commitment to showcasing the authenticity of childhood.

Alexandrena's career has been a globetrotting adventure, contributing her talent to both national and global campaigns. Clients such as Seed, Country Road, Bonds, Westpac Bank, Woolworths, A2 Milk, Microsoft, Myer, and David Jones have entrusted her with their visions, resulting in stunning visual narratives that resonate with audiences worldwide.

Her expertise extends beyond the lens, as she has shared her knowledge by lecturing and tutoring at universities, nurturing the next generation of creative minds.

Outside of her work, Alexandrena finds joy in her role as a mother to 6-year-old Ruby. Her love for children has been a constant thread in her life, shaping both her personal and professional endeavours. Born with Cystic Fibrosis and a digestive disease, Alexandrena's journey with illness has given her a valuable perspective and the determination to make the most out of her life.

Together with her husband, she undertook the challenge of renovating an old post office in the Dandenong Ranges, transforming it into a beautiful, light-filled family home. This endeavour reflects not only her creative spirit but also her commitment to creating a nurturing environment for her family.
