Dr Kate Jameson

Medical Director of Youth Lab, Cosmetic Physician & General Practitioner

Dr Kate Jameson is the medical director of Youth Lab, an accomplished General Practitioner and a full time Cosmetic Physician, specialising in non-surgical aesthetics and skin rejuvenation.

During her junior doctor years working in emergency departments and on surgical teams, Dr Kate noticed a natural ability and skill in procedural medicine and surgery. Whilst she was encouraged to pursue surgery as a career path, Dr Kate felt more drawn to her patients and their stories outside of the operating theatres. This desire to treat her patients holistically and engage with her community brought Dr Kate to commence specialist training in General Practice in 2013.

Having always had an interest in beauty and aesthetics, Dr Kate combined her medical knowledge by studying aesthetic medicine and dermal therapies while working as a GP and completing a Diploma in Dermal Therapies in 2014. She completed her fellowship in General Practice in 2015 and joined the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Dr Kate established her own brand ‘Dr Kate Aesthetics’ in 2014 where she continued to build her personal brand and reputation as a trustworthy and talented cosmetic physician.

In 2018, Dr Kate created and launched the Youth Lab clinic with her partner Jon. Youth Lab was developed to meet the growing demand in the Western Australian market for high quality, doctor driven cosmetic treatments in a contemporary and inviting setting.

Youth Lab’s philosophy is centred around delivering the latest in cosmetic medicine, in a beautiful environment, with the goal of helping evoke confidence in all patients who come through the clinic’s doors. Youth Lab is Dr Kate’s vision come to life, and is the result of years of dedication, sacrifice, study and a love of medicine.

As a well-respected skincare and cosmetics expert, Dr Kate has been featured in publications such as Beauticate, Retreat Magazine, The Daily Pretty, Spa and Clinic Magazine (cover & feature), STM Magazine and Adore Beauty. Dr Kate also regularly contributes for The West Australian and has appeared on Channel Seven News as an expert in the cosmetic injectables field.

As a highly qualified female entrepreneur with immense industry experience, Dr Kate is a sought-after professional speaker, and has been engaged to speak at a variety of professional beauty and cosmetics conferences Australia wide.

Dr Kate offers a patient centered focus to optimise the health and wellbeing of her patients while at the same time using her medical knowledge, technical skills and natural eye for aesthetics to give patients a rejuvenated and natural result following their treatments. She is in a unique position to engage and empower her patients to take control of their bodies, their health and how they age.

Dr Kate is well respected by her peers and patients. She is confident, honest and approachable and has had a genuine love for aesthetic medicine and how it can change the life of her patients. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her partner Jon, her son Edison and their two dogs, as well as keep fit by lifting weights, boxing and cycling.

Dr Kate is available for guest speaker bookings, ambassador roles and brand partnerships, and is currently based on Whadjuk Country (Perth, Western Australia).
