Steven Gelagotis is a Melbourne-based Ambulance Victoria Paramedic, digital creator and activist for the LGBTQI+ community.

Steve grew up in a migrant Greek family in country Victoria, spending much of his youth playing a variety of sports, including Basketball for Victoria.

Steve is an advocate for inclusivity and uses his platform to spread awareness for the queer community along with sitting on Ambulance Victoria’s Diversity and Inclusion Council and lecturing at Alfred with the P.A.R.T.Y Program (Prevention of Alcohol and Drug-Related Trauma in Youth).

Multi-faceted, with a loyal and engaged audience, Steve has worked with national brands including Casetify, Oscar Wylee, Culture Kings, Pawgrocer, Alya Skin, Canadian Club, Milkrun and Ambulance Victoria.

Steve currently stars on Channel Nine’s Paramedics and has been interviewed for Channel Ten’s The Project, ABC Morning Show, Channel Seven’s Minute by Minute and Seize The Yay Podcast.

In his spare time, Steve enjoys anything to do with food, playing mixed netball/basketball, spending time with his Italian Greyhound Lucy, looking after his personal well-being and his current passion project of making bespoke homewares from limestone.
