Bayley Mifsud is a proud Gunditjmara woman and Aboriginal artist, born and raised in the regional town of Warrnambool in South-West Victoria. Her Aboriginal name, Merindah-Gunya meaning Beautiful Spirit in the Peek Whurrong language was gifted to her through a traditional naming ceremony on Country, supported by her Elders and community.

Art has always been a central part of Bayley’s life. She brings her creativity to everything she does, from her artwork and personal style to the way she designs her living spaces. Her work is a reflection of her culture, identity, and deep connection to Country.

Outside the studio, Bayley enjoys life’s simple pleasures such as taking long walks with her dog Benji, sipping on a matcha and browsing her local op shops for hidden treasures.
